Wildwood guitars have been crafted with the utmost care to reproduce the authenticity of the wood's material, and its visual and sonic warmth. The body is carved from paulwonia, a light, resonant and elegantly grained wood. The sturdy, comfortable 4-point screw neck is topped by a 22-fret roasted maple fingerboard, providing comfort and stability. The Eko Steel bridge features independently 3 adjustable saddles to fine-tune the action and harmonics of the strings. Its locking tuners in 4+2 configuration ensures tuning and note stability. The body's natural “roasted” color complements the black hardware. Finally, the satin-finish “open pore” varnish reveals the raw, natural beauty of the grain.
A highly versatile electronics configuration!
In terms of electronics, the Tero 701 Wildwood is equipped with 3 single-coil pickups, in other words, an SSS pickup configuration, very versatile for a Tele guitar format. The 5-position selector widens the instrument's palette of tones, with three positions (bass, middle and high) associated with each of the three pickups, offering clean, powerful tones, and two intermediate positions wired in parallel for deeper, velvety tones. This highly versatile SSS configuration, combined with the 5-position selector, allows you to play a wide range of musical styles.
